CELTA & SHARING CARING
Hello,
I have a degree in English Language Teaching and I studied 4 years to get it. Yet, frankly, I have learnt most of the things I have been using in my classes now during my 4-week intensive CELTA course. May be it is because it was practical, and I'd already had real teaching experience and I knew what I needed to focus on. Still, I recommend CELTA to any ESL teacher who is willing to work with adults.
If you are following this blog, most probably you know what CELTA is yet just in case you don't; Celta is a course offered by many institutions around the world under the inspection of Cambridge University. The purpose of the course is to teach people how to teach English to adults. You are given a Certificate if you complete the course successfully and this certificate is pretty much valid all around the world.
Hopefully, I will be sharing some teaching tips, activities, and methods with you by recalling my CELTA course and all the valuable teaching tips I have learnt at my university from the colleagues, PDU, and my observations.
I hope I will be able to help you in your journey to be a superb teacher.
